What is a bimini top and will it fit any boat?

Thank you for your post! A bimini top is constructed of aluminum or stainless steel poles and a canvas top. The canvas top can be made from various materials. The purpose of the bimini top is to provide shade. You can order a bimini top in various lengths widths and heights. You can use a bimini top on virtually any boat, however a different size boat will require a different size bimini.

To determine the correct size for your boat, you would first need to measure the width between the points where you would like to mount the bimini to the boat. You can mount to the gunnell, windshield, a railing, etc. Just keep in mind this is your main mounting point and therefore the midpoint of your canvas. Then you would simply measure straight from that mounting point up to determine the height of the top.
